Pixie is approximately 10 months old now, when I got her she was pretty underweight, very wormy and full of lice.

She has grown loads in height, confidence and character (polite way of saying she is a little madam

).

I'm now wondering if she has put on too much weight, what do you think?

( Please excuse her Bog brush like appearance, I will be attacking her with the grooming kit tomorrow!

She is turned out 24/7 on decentish grazing, she also gets one feed a day which consist of 1 small scoop of Safe and Sound and 1 small scoop of Suregrow.

Also, any ideas what colour she may turn out to be? I am at a loss because she seems to be a different colour all over!

Here is a picture of the inside of her leg to show you how light it is

Her belly is a very pale sandy colour.

For any one interested this is what she looked like when I got her just after Christmas

I think she looks well, her belly is prehaps a little large but nothing drastic! She is gorgeous as ever. I think she will probably be chesnut still or possibly a very dark palomino? Not an expert on foal to adult colour changes! She is fab though, I am so glad you have given her a lovely home

Do you think I should keep up her feed? Are you still feeding your yearling?

Would it be classed as Dark Palomino though? Don't they have to be born palomino to be palomino (hope that makes sense

No idea! But she reminds me a bit of a haflinger with her faded bits under her legs and belly, I think they are generally classed as chesnut though the lihter ones look pretty palomino to me! (not saying she has any haflinger in her just that her colouring is a bit like one).
