Girlie has just had more or less a month off and I'm just brining her back in to work, so how d'you think she's looking? YO reckons she's a good weight, I reckon she's a little on the pudgy side Thanks! Vx

Hi guys, thanks for your comments, make me feel a lot better, and yes she is gorgous isn't she I'm always really paranoid about her weight because when I got her she looked like this:

And she seemed to have lost quite a lot of muscle during her month off, but then again I guess that's to be expected! As I say, I'm just paranoid!

Taluna-She's pure Selle Francais, hopefully at some point I'll be able to put the massive body to use and have a foal from her

She's cheeky as hell, can be an absolute madame (like she was hacking on the road today o: ) but is brilliant and I wouldn't change her for the world...well maybe a little

I agree with you. She is a bit over weight at the moment, but hopefully that will come right as you bring her back into work. Just be careful with her feed.

Out of interest, who is she by? I knew a good SF breeder in our area who I worked for as a teen

She is a little bit rotund but compared to the picture of when you bought her she is positively "twiggy" LOL

Coming into winter and coming back into work, I am sure she will be fit and lean in no time

She is by Ultra Beau II out of Patachoulie, http://www4.haras-nationaux.fr:8080/HARA...p;SrcPage=liste, that's her pedegree, but she was bread in France and then flown over about 3 years ago. OUt of interest, what's the name of the SF breeder? I would like to have a foal from her in a year or so so am just doing some research

She doesn't look too bad just a bit soft and lacking in muscle to be expected after being out of work. I wouldn't worry.

I think she looks a nice size, just needs to build up her bottom a bit to even out her tummy! (if only that was my problem ahahaha!)
