How's Teddy, Showaddy1?

OMG... I'm so sorry, life with 4 kids, 2 horse (one ill) and working full time sure can get busy!!
Teddy is eating me out of house and home... thanks to his feed bill we are all on rations!!
Seriously, he's doing great... 4 feed a day and lots of good hay has worked wonders (stopped haylage it was filling him up and he wasn't looking for the feeds). Vet happy, coming again in a fortnight. Bloods were normal for an emaciated horse... The wormers seem to have done the trick and I am busy tackling his lice infestation. His jaw is still 'clicking' despite his teeth being rasped, but vet can look at that on next visit.
He has put on weight... oddly around his tummy! He is currently in 24/7... with a little walk every day to stretch his legs.
Who knows what he may turn into?, currently he is a babe, lovely manners and a great friend to my daughter.
Another month and I'll start some quiet work with him.
I promise faithfully to take pics tomorrow..
Thanks again for your support and concern.
Bec x

so glad that you're doing well!

Have you managed to find out his proper name/ a little more about his history?

(I talk to PJ's old owners/ trainers quite regularly, got all of the details off racing post)

Oh god, struggling to add pics.... I'm going to add them to my profile again and some kind person can bring them into this post....
He has put on weight, not as much as I'd like but hey ho its the middle of winter!! Lots of lovely bald patches at the mo where his rain scald has come off and we are waiting for his coat to come through. Still suffering with lice despite the louse powder, Ivomectin and going through him with a nit comb!! (seriously I have). Any suggestions gratefully received.
He is however, so happy....he whinnies when he sees us (knows there's food on the way).

He's definitely visibly better...what a cutie pie!!!

For the lice - I know its winter and he needs the weight but would clipping his coat off help?
