think it may have just winded itself as although they stopped the course it restarted quite quickly so it couldnt be too serious

I think you mean the 3rd team horse for France. I was concerned too (as obviously Mike Tucker was - could hear him saying that the camera should come away) but I would have thought that the hold-up would have been longer if there was a really serious injury. There will probably be more news on the WEG site later - at present there are just some rider comments about the course and how they fared.

I think it counts as 'commentators curse' - they were just saying how he had a silly fall at an early fence in the olympics and next fence.....
The rider obviously got uo but the horse didn't fromm what you could see and they stopped the course for a bit.

Are you sure it was a French horse ? (was it Expo du Moulin and Arnaud Boiteau, they were eliminated)
They say on the WEG website that the only serious fall was Sonja Johnson/AUS but that after being taken to hospital she's ok.

God, it's awful about the Endurance horse, they give so much in that discipline as well...

Yeah, I was wondering about that too - I must admit it didnt look too good. I dont like the fact that it hasnt been mentioned on any press releases or on the TV...

There were trees blocking the view, but a woman spectator ran forward and climbed on the jump, she stepped back down and walked away not looking terribly bothered, so I assumed the horse was laying on his reins and couldn't get back up or something non fatal...
