As you all know i'm trying to either sell or loan my horse out, getting exceedingly desperate but don't want him going anywhere horrid, had a few lovely offers from some of you on here but just incase none of them pan out how about this?
Was trying to think of the best place to advertise him, where do millions of people look everyday, well i thought it's such a shame that you can't advertise live animals on e-bay so i thought of this:
Beautiful nearly new albion saddle for sale mw fitting, black, 17 1/2" reserve price of £6000, oh also comes with a free horse!!!
What do you reckon?

No, if you do not want him going anywhere 'horrid', why sell him on ebay where any tom dick or harry could buy him? There is a reason you cannot advertise animals on ebay - they are animals, living creatures not inanimate objects.

Hmm I think I'd steer clear of ebay IMO. Why not try horsequest, local newspaper, tack shops, put the word out at the yard/friends etc. I hope the offers from the HHOers pan out well for you!

I haven't advertised on h+h forum i was asking for advice yesterday and if someone asked for info on my boy i don't see what is wrong with that sorry if i've offended any of you. I've have already paid £120 to advertise with h+h which got me all of one call!! So stop being so bloody high and mighty if you read any of my posts yesterday you'd see how incredibly ***ked up my life is a the moment, I don't need you getting on my case as well.

I think you are the one that isn't funny

People on here have tried hard to help and advise you.... and you either get defensive or as in this case insult them. You are clearly in a difficult situation and need to sell your horse and I am sorry for that but cracking 'jokes' about putting him on ebay are in poor taste. You have admitted in a previous post that the horse has some schooling issues due to a loan home that didn't work out, he has little competition experience..... you may have to reduce your price based on those facts. He is a lovely looking horse and I hope you find the right home for him.

Dear hellybelly considering before i had my baby and had to give up horses i had spent the last few years working with horses including working for a lady who spends her time rescuing horses and donkeys so don't bloody tell me what i am doing. I was bloody joking and no i wasn't joking about my horses welfare i was just making a ***king joke, get a bloody life and get of your high horse

Cowboy I am so glad you are feeling better, more positive about your situation and ready to have a little joke!

Had another thought have you got any good dealing yards nearby who might have him and sell him for you taking a %?

To other posters Cowboy posted recently and has had a difficult time other HHO ?posted yesterday? thread will explain. Please chill out a bit and give her some support!

Still doesn't make the 'joke' funny.

Thanks to those of you that can appreciate it was never meant to offend my god how could anyone seriously think that was a serious post. I'm just a normal wife mother and animal lover, if i thought for one second that people would have reacted this way i would have never written it.

You're right. That would require a sense of humour.

My daughter claims to have got hers at Lidls, which is why she says, it is functional but not very longlasting. My other daughter claims to have got hers from Waitrose, and that it is far superior.
We have a pony who got his direct from St Nick.

I am not on my high horse, I am passionate about animal welfare and as smash said, it doesnt make the joke funny.

Perhaps be less rash when posting 'jokes'. Forums, internet, texts, emails do not show facial expressions or the tone of voice and it is difficult to tell if its a 'joke' or serious.

I think 6-6.5k is a bit expensive for him. Dont take that offensively, just my opinion. I'd expect more solid competition experience for that amount of money. 5k is probably a more reasonable price and that could be why only one person has called up about him.
