Thank you! It is really mentally draining. I am hoping the metformin starts to work soon. She's been on it 5 days now. I don't want her to be on box rest much longer. It's no life for a horse.

Just mean I can see and feel her spinal processes at her withers. Was previously covered in fat.

Thanks everyone. She is a lot better today! The last 48 hours I swapped her soaked hay for soaked Marksway Horsehage Hi fibre (less than 3% sugars). Seems to have helped a lot. I only had one bale though and so have put an order through for 20 more that should arrive early in the week.

Thank you. It has helped so much knowing that so many people are rooting for her. She is such a people lover, extremely soppy with any human, (horrible to other horses unless they are boss of her then she loves them).
