How's your helmet meant to look?

I'm trying on the fouganza velvet helmet i got for riding, and im not sure if it fits like its meant to?
Is it not meant to cover the back of my head? xP

I cannot tell you whether or not your helmet fits and is safe.
I can report that my current helmet which was fitted by my trusted saddler does not come down the back of my head in the way which previous ones did. Like some other modern horse riding helmets it uses the m.i.p.s. system which was developed to protect bicycle riders.
I much prefer the new design as my previous hemets as I fell onto my back (padded with a bp) tended to press into the back of my neck,

I would find a qualified fitter experienced with the make/model hat you're interested in and can do an in-person fitting. Not every hat works for every head and you've only got one (major design flaw IMO) so it's quite important to get it right.

You absolutely have to get it fitted. No one can advise on here.
It’s just not worth it
