Here Here....well said little lady!! Get her on the show committees! It's disgusting some of the sights i've seen over the years in the ring on what passes for so called 'showring condition'.... absolute twaddle.

.........or should that be "waddle"? I agree; when are they going to actually do something about the horrible sights we see in the show ring? (And I am absolutely serious here: obesity is as much malnutrition as starvation). Oh, and I'm a judge, BTW.

My friend took her pony showing for the first time last season. Beautiful mare, moved well etc etc. She got a 5th and the judge said if she can significantly fatten her up for the next show she would be in the top ribbons! 
Needless to say she swiftly gave up the showing and kept her beautiful girl healthy. x

Fabulous, don't you just love kids. I do recall taking a young friend to Olympia once and on seeing clipped ponies she asked "Why has that one got trousers on?" Cue long explanation about clipping.
