hi just wondered if anyone has ever purchased tickets on the day at hoys or do you always purchase in advance ? don't know if I should risk buying on the day .

The website is already showing sold out on Saturday and limited for other days.

I cant understand how they have only the most expensive seats left. when I have been for the last few years, week days and they is always loads of spare seats.

I know some people who have gone on a shopping ticket & got into the arenas - not quite sure how though

Saturday evening sold out a few days back apparently. I phoned today for two seats for Saturday daytime and had a heck of a job to get two together!
I also booked a single adult ticket for Wednesday and ended up with the most expensive which was amazing since last year I purposely booked the most expensive but found there to be so many spare seats the people from the cheap seats were sitting where they wanted
Its going to be a busy one for sure!
Unless you are happy with a shopping only ticket I would book ahead
