HOYS wednesday

I've won tickets to HOYS on wednesday and found out today. But it is a bit last minute so I would need to book to day off work and rearrange my lesson. Also it is only a pair of tickets and we can't book an extra ticket as their 'deadline' to be seated together was the 17th (the letter was dated 30th)
So I was wondering if it would be worth going on this day? It is a plus 3 1/2 hour journey and combined with all of the above- would it be worth it? (I've never been before)

I haven't been on a Wednesday, but it is great fun if you like horses and shopping

I was going to take D1 on Friday, but like you it means a day off work (and I only get paid for the days I work) and to for three of us to go it would have been nearly £150 just for the tickets alone

Maybe call the organizers and explain the situation and see if they can get you seats together?

I'm going on Friday. I love going to HOYS, it is always a great day out. Maybe have a look on the website and see which events are on and if they would interest you.

Im going on Wed to see my friends M&M stallion who has qualified, lots of other things to watch and Wed is THE best day for bargains!!! Ive just told my oh my shopping list!! New boots, sheepskin half pad, denim jodhs, some nice fleeces and new collar for dog, plus impulse buys lol!!! If you see quite a few people in Cerise pink polo shirts Hoys 2010 thats us!!!
Im going on Sat for the puissance too cant wait! Woo Hoo!
