Ok so not that recent but I overheard a conversation at work recently that if we are vaccinating 12-13yo's against STDs, we are then assuming they are/will be sexually active soon right? Why are we not taking steps to prevent adolescent infections and pregnancies e.g. contraceptive implants at that age too? (Implants are available on NHS for free)
Is it sensible or do you think it's an awful thing to say?
