Is it just me or are there more and more people selling horses but less buying??

I recently noticed lot of nice horses and ponies in wales which just never seem to sell.

just wondered if this was across the uk or just more noticable in wales?

There are to many horses and it doesn't just effect the UK. Even very nicely bred horses can be picked up quite cheaply now. The financial recession, price of stabling, feed, hay (or lack of it) all contribute to people downsizing or giving up their hobby.
