Well might have guessed the goverment would do fak all, all that revenue would dissapear, all that bollocks about not letting them off in the street and not selling to under 18's blah blah bloody blah blah, pissing in the wind, fekkin things going off for weeks at all stupid hours, any coppers around, is there bollocks, what a waste of time, Govmerment too busy bailing out greedy shareholders with Northern Crock

i wasn't aware there was a curfew on the use of fireworks and obviously no-one around here is either, they routinely let them off in the early hours.

In fairness it was a pretty badly worded petition but all respect to the family bringing it, I feel for the loss of their dog but agree with you P, a ban was never going to happen

THis Government is crap at everything, if they can't get it right about Iraq, they decide to ban hunting because it is cruel, but allow calves to be exported live to the continent, how can they know their arses from their elbows. They don't give a stuff about animal welfare or they would be doing something about this.
 
And that is a very well worded petition, so it just goes to show that regardless of how well or badly written a petition is, if the government aren't interested, they aren't interested. Perhaps there needs to be a similar petition from every constituentcy in the UK?
