My hubby is one of the best blokes I know and I know he only wants the best for me. But....when he says I’m not sure you’re gonna manage such a big horse at your age, it really touched a nerve. You know, as it does, when you respect that person and what they say.
My Clyde is 4 this month and as some of you will know, she’s had a difficult start and can have issues lifting her feet. Of course, this is when hubby had to step in and flex a muscle or two and we got the job done calmly. I’m 51 this year and have nowhere near the strength I did have, so this has made me think. God I could strangle him....in a nice way! Lol I’m just a bit deflated, worried, fed up...but also I’ve worked so hard and made such progress. Granted her feet are a work in progress, I’m just hoping it works out. Flaming husbands.....lol
