He is now in full search mode, and we have few nice ones to consider but anyone else have anything that might be suitable? Around 16 hands, up to 14 stone (not incl tack) and sensible for a novice rider.
 
What sort of riding will he want to do??

Thats the main issue really, you dont want to get something that isnt any good for what you want to do. Is he only going to be a hacker or will he want to compete eventually??

He may want to compete at some point but local shows next year so it will be a few years before that is an issue. He wants an all rounder, something he can have lessons on, maybe start to jump in a few months and also hack
