Roodle is joining the giant yellow puppy doing the foal dance

Yellow puppy and Roodle sound like a perfect couple. Roodle likes big dogs, especially big boy dogs. She shows off in front of them and runs around very fast.

When she wakes up I'll tell her she has a foal dance partner. :D Its a hard life being a dog!

Pippa is cuddled up with uncle Frazer (my best friend!) and says she will decline on foal dance tonight!! Charming!
Lily has been doing a boingy foal dance on the garden tho so I guess that will do! lol!

This is Pips -

Hope it works, I'll get our two old girls on the case in a bit once they've summoned up the energy. We NEED to see those foalies :-)

Love the pink jumper on Pippa! I want a skull & cross bones t-shirt for little rat dog but evil OH won't let me. He has a skull & cross bones bandana instead.

Yellow dog thrilled at prospect of little lady pup to dance with stolensilver, well, he will be when he wakes up!

So we have foal dancing people, dogs, sheep & shetland pony.......

Come on ponies, push!! Fingers crossed for Rosehip & Kerilli it worked for Dianchi.... :D

That jumper was mine! lol! Mum shrank it in the wash! :D
Pippa is a very clever puppy, getting a bit arthritic-y now but still a lovely girl!

Frai is coming with me tonight, he has bought his hot water bottle with him! lol! He reckons he has a good feeling about tonight....we will see....:) xx

I have made all the kids, and all the dogs (and I hope you appreciate that hyping up 4 nutty spangles was the end of my chilled out evening!), even the OH do the foal dance. So you had better tell her to pop tonight!:D

Thank you so much! I will pass the message on - whether she listens is a whole other matter!!
Just making flask's and Lily's bottle before we head up there... I think Frai is expecting a big adventure - I havent told him how cold it gets! lol! xx

I can guarantee there will be much gossip, tea/coffe drinking and very little sleep!Lol!
When we get together we gossip all night!! So much tiredness tomorrow! :D xx

*****wanders in to see whats happening*****

I think you are all nuts:D:p:D:p:D....but keep it up you make me laugh!!:)

Good Luck for tonight hope to hear of new foalies in the morning :):)

Maisie, a chestnut filly born at 12.20! Seren is bruised but no tearing and maisie is bright and wanting to get up! Afterbirth passed and bucketed for later. Seri keeps getting down, but I assume she's knackered? Is it 2 hours the foal should be up and drinking? Xx

Awww thats so sweet firsttimemum! How far are you into foal watch?
Maisie has now had 3 poo's and has been suckling and then bouncing round the stable! Seri cant keep up with her! The poor girl, you can tell all she wants is to sleep! lol!
We have tied up a makeshift (but secure!!) door to the shelter and left them to it for a couple of hours....I didnt see any point in staying and disturbing them, and Seri seems to be telling Melly exactly where to go! (They are in a shelter with a chest height partition, which Mels is looking over wanting foal kisses!)

Im getting my head down on the sofa for a couple of hours, and Frai is off to bed, going back up at about 6ish to check everything is ok, and give Seri a feed and hay.

What do you experienced people think of letting them out in the small paddock - 10m square- for a leg stretch etc?

Thanks so much for all the foal dancing - I reckon it was the dogs participation that tipped the balance!! :D xx

I'm on night number 10 I think sleep deprivation has made me lose track of time lol.

She sounds like she is going to be an active one lots of pictures please!!!!

we have had 2 hours sleep and are now toddling back up to make sure everything is still ok!
Loads of pics coming up, you know how snap happy I am!! :D
FirstTimeMum, sleep depravation does wierd things to a body, Ive had hallucinations and everything! lol!

Elle, Frai was amazing, he is completely none horsey, and finds the lambing a bit heave worthy, but held the torch and calmed me down when I realised Maisie was stuck as a pig and I needed to foal her!
Although Ive said all along that I wanted to do this alone, I was so grateful for him being there last night! :)

Wooo hooooo! Big congrats! I had my Westies doing a foal dance for you. One is due to have pups on June 9th so maybe you could repay and get your foalie to do a puppy dance for me.Lots of pics needed of your new baby. Well done :0).
Debby
