Huge horse is arrived!Introdusing Teddy:)!

Hi, again, You can see my guys in my albums in CP. Haven't a clue how to bring them up on here.

I bet you can just about lie down on Teddy's back and it would be as if you were on a moving easy chair!

Friend of mine did it:)And stood on him:)
Thanks everyone for advice. He is really really sweet, pictures doesn't show it. And he got these "Puppy eye's":) No,my Magic is really sweet and nice horse too, but he is so explosive:eek:sometimes I'm afraid be next to him:(
We dont have weight tape, but when I'll get one, I'll tell you.
Saw Teddy cantering on the field today,it's something!!!!

Thats it! I had enough! Why life is SO unfair? Why? Why my husband, who going to ride on the weekends only have this wonderful, calm, gentle giant, who just stands there for 1and a half hours to be groomed and brushed and dont move at all,and walk calmly, and real sweety, and i've got this explosive maniac lunatic suicidal idiot of a warmblood, who cant
not just stand still, but leaping up and down on all four and pulling on the rope and scaring himself to death and more and cant even finish his tea because someone somewhere far away shooting?! Why mans always have the best??? Life is so unfair!:( (going away sobbing and moaning and hiding in the corner)

I know exactly where you are coming from owning Fany is so easy, and Captain my WB is neurotic, scared of his own shadow!

I love him! I think he would make a nice little toy boy for FDCs Fany as well :)

Sussh she is the world's biggest slapper!

Ginger Horse, may I just say be aware he will know his size and strength, even as gentle as Fany is she had to be reminded who was in charge. I think you are going to have masses of fun with him, they are so gentle and kind.

Oh he's BEAUTIFUL.... Teddy is a bigger version of my 3.5yo Comtois X - Arthur....

Thankfully, Arthur is only standing at 14.3hh at the mo and he's pretty well behaved. Incredibly strong though if he sets his mind to it.... his cannon bones are only half an inch smaller than my Clydesdale!

He is gorgeous!

I have a ginger HW beastie and he is the nicest horse I have to handle (and ride!). All you have to do is tell him he is a good boy and he is totally chilled, so I wouldn't worry about your chap - big doesn't necessarily mean bargey.

What a sweetie, I love heavies, I bet you have great fun with him.

He must be good to travel too, I always wondered if those small horseboxes would be safe with one very big horse in them.

Had a test ride on Teddy today, just to indoor school and back. Well, good news is-we do have brakes.Bad news is-we dont have steering:) His trot is huge, but so comfy!:)

WOW he's fab! I love heavies! Your hubby is a lucky bloke! More pics would be great and I can't wait to hear how you get on with him...he' looks a real sweety! And so aptly named! How tall is he?

He's lovely. It always amazes me how agile the big beasties are - they can be lovely to ride - and surprisingly sharp! I was presented with a 4yr old Shire to "refine" whilst working in Switzerland. Was very surprised at the gusto with which he pissed off round the indoor school with me the first time I got on him. Luckily he had a very long thick mane, because I hadn't actually swung my leg over the back when he tanked off - so I had to hang on to one side of him like an abseiling monkey til he stopped. He was a saint once we'd ironed out that little kink - worked very nicely on the bit, and we all used to fight over who got to ride him. He was called Teddy too...

hi,we have a field of 'Teddy's' at the top of our road but until you see someone next to them like in your pics you just don't realise how enormous they are.!!
he is a beauty-no doubt.
we used to have a normandy cob who was a big boy for us and when he wanted to go there wasnt alot we could do-though to be fair he was a gentle giant but he did bolt twice. we ended up having to use a dutch gag on him to hold him back,he was never nasty but he didnt realise how strong he was i suppose.
hope you have alot of fun with him.:)

This is my half Belgian...one of the soppiest, most affectionate horses I have ever come across. :)

He's 16.3?!!!! How tall are you then? At 5'2", on a good day, I'd need a step ladder to see over his back! :D
