So despite my boys stud holes being stuffed full of cotton wool, he's managed to ram a stone into his front one. I spent an hour trying to dig it out this morning but didn't get so much of a wobble out of it! Its thoroughly wedged in but have a full weekend of competing. Any ideas ????:(

WD40 is on the list of things to try as soon as I can get hold of some thank you Its unbreakable! I tried and tried today. Its like the stone went in, then grew because its so tight against the shoe!

I've also had this & just couldn't get it out - even with all the advice listed above! I eventually managed to shift it with a blast of water from a pressure washer.

Tiny screwdriver. Horseshoe nails are too soft and will bend. Just keep working at it and eventually it will give up. If all else fails you'll have to get farrier out to remove shoe and get it out that way.

can you get a dremel to it? Bit more manageable than a proper drill but if you can make a hole in the stone you might be able to break it up more easily. good luck
