Jane has just phoned me in tears. Phantom has gone rapidly downhill, heart rate of 90, listless.

The vet thinks it may be salmonella.....

they're just waiting for the lorry to fetch him to take him to stabling so he can be in. The vet has taken bloods and will have the results tomorrow lunch. He's had an antiB shot etc. Until then all then can do is give him TLC


PLEASE PLEASE send lots of good vibes for phantom. And huge hugs for Jane and her daughter who are (quite understandably) devastated.

The vets thought Grace had salmonella when she ended up having colic surgery. Her temperature was high, her heart rate abnormal and very very listless. She was tested for salmonella, but thankfully nothing!

I hope it is the same for Phantom!
