Huge waves in edinburgh.

Bloomin' heck!
I'm off work today because we have flooding and land slips all round us so the trains are knackered. Luckily we're on a hill so are ok, but all around is looking quite soggy.
It's been alternating between heavy rain and heavy snow all morning.
Had forgotten quite how addictive day time tv can be, and I appear to have lost my whole morning...

Crikey, that's a bit scary!! Weather is just wild just now, what's that about March coming in like a lion and out like a lamb!

It is to teach us a lesson Catcus, don't ever rely on quotations or Mother Nature ;)

And more importantly the weather forecast because they are always at least two - three days behind or in front OR completely wrong L)

Meanwhile I stay just outside Edinburgh (and work there in the town) but couldn't go anwhere yesterday cos of the snow! It snowed for about 24 hours - heavy wet stuff that landed about 1 foot thick. It was far worse than what we got at Christmas-time cos it was so heavy - brought down power lines and we were without leccy from 9pm Tues til 9am Wed! But the snow was so isolated - it was literally a small area that got it - it was like we had our micro-climate! Drive a couple miles a few directions and it was just lotsa rain!
