Got to field and she flat out , she didn't/couldn't get up.
Tummy was making noises and she was glassy eyed, Rachel struggled to get her head up.
Called for back up but with R pulling and me kicking and shoving we got her up (she fell first time)
Vet came within 25 mins of call, and although Harmony was brighter, she still had gassy sounds in her tummy. Was given whatever it is vets give and advised to keep her in for a couple of hours, but less if she got stressed.
(which she did as Herbie was an absolute prick today and made her flap about ..)
She is very bright now and eating, looking ok, just got to keep an eye on her.
hated it when she was down
vet said she was very impressed with her, handled beautifully and looked in great condition (so much better than the fat yearlings I do see she said).
Hugs for Harmony (and Rachel who was very upset and panicky as you would expect)
