am crying as i write this so plese excuse spelling.

a 14yr olds pony from my yard got colic this morning and vet was called.
he seemed ok so vet went after tubing him.
vet was called again at 3pm and took forever to get there. he was then tubed again and as we are quite a drive for the vet it was advised to take him to the RVC in case he got any worse.
he was fine through the journey and ok when he was put in his stable.
30 mins after arrival he deterioated again and i have just received the dreaded call that he is in surgery.
also was told away from child owner that the vets are not optomistic as he is 19yrs old and it now seems to be more severe than what they were originally hoping.
wont know anymore til after surgery and will let you know but vibes for Ben would be much apreciated.

She must be going through hell!

Famous HHO vibes heading directly to Ben in RVC. He is in the best possible place where he can be monitored. Fingers securely crossed that the surgery goes as planned. Prayers on their way, and for his owners and you too xx

Healing vibes.
We went through this last week and the vets held very little hope and had to resusitate during surgery. My friends horse had a twisted colon but is still with us and improving [ but she will need a mortgage to pay for it]
I will keep everything crossed, hope it works out .

Oh Christ! What is it with this year and colic cases? There seem to be too many!!!

BIG ((((((((HUGS)))))))) to you, prayers and vibes for the pony and massive (((((hugs)))))) for his owner......
