A strange request I know!

I have two horses but one of them my gorgeous Arab gelding isn’t getting the attention he needs and deserves. Due to work and home commitments I hardly have any spare time now and the spare time that I do have is taken up riding my other horse.

I’m sure most people on the site have their own horses and ponies but what I would like is someone who perhaps isn’t fortunate enough to have their own but who would like to spend time pampering and fussing over my Arab, he loves one to one attention and is a real character, everyone who meets him falls in love with him! He can be ridden but he isn’t a novice ride so he does need a confident experienced rider. I don’t expect the person to do any stable duties but if they could help out even just occasionally that would be gratefully appreciated. If anyone knows of anyone, let me know. I’m in West Sussex near Worthing.

Thanks

Hi.
I have found some great riders by going and having alook in saddlerys, feed mills and post office boards. Word of advice make sure that they have there own insurance and they know what is expected of them. A lady who rides my horses, see to them two nights aweek and that is brill as it gives me abreak. Hope you find someone soon !

Unfortuntaly you live too far away from me

sounds like a good oppurtunity!

That is exactly the kind of thing I loved doing a year or two ago, when I still adored horses but hadn't recovered enough confidence to ride. I would fawn over any horse I came across, and some breeders hired me to get their foals used to being handled... BLISS!

Anyway, you're bound to be able to find someone like me who'll jump at the chance - it sounds like a brilliant opportunity for a horse-mad person to get their pony fix!

Thanks everyone. Yes it would be a great opportunity for the right person. He's the most sweetest horse ever. Thanks for the tip re; insurance, very good point.

i found my share on horsetoloan.com, and have been for a nosey a couple of times since. There are some people looking for a horse on there, or you could put an ad up yourself?

He sounds absolutely gorgeous and you are offering a fantastic deal, so i am sure you will find someone in no time. If you were near me and i didn't already have mine i would be round already
