Humour me… can I gush a little

We have just come back from the vets, Bert has had his second injection (just booster)
Not only did he behave impeccably, but the vets were really complimentary.
Apparently the vet we saw has rarely seen a lab in such fantastic condition. She said everything about him is absolutely perfect. Condition, weight, skin, ears, teeth.
She commented how much more confident (but still nervous) he had become. He sat beautifully first request to be weighed. This time he took treats and gave her a little wag, last time was a real trauma for the poor lad.
There was another dog in the waiting room and although he was interested there was no panic or fuss.
She actually wrote 100% on his certificate
He sat quietly. Just so god damn pround…..

They (hopefully) see all dogs every year for health check and boosters so you can still feel very proud!

He is chief kitten sitter.
I’m not totally keen on a lot of labs but I think he’s beautiful. I am probably very biased though
A lot of people said he didn’t look like a proper lab when he was younger he was narrow and a bit skinny. An ugly duckling!

Well it made me laugh if nothing else. He tip toed round it trying to pick it up but obviously that was too gross, so he ran to me, stared, ran to the ball, stared and so on. Until i got the message (which was loud and clear!) went and and cleaned it up for him.
At least he's not dirty, I thik if he'd picked it up himself I'd have never hugged him again
