I thought my boy was amazing at the weekend, we had the best ride ever on Sat then I give him is first ever clip on Sunday and he was such a good boy couldn't have praised him enough.

Roll on 3 days and he's had a total personality transplant being the biggest arse ever in our lesson tonight, so not impressed!!

I'd been wondering whether he had the right name, now I know what he should be called - Marmite, (and today is a hate it day :()

whinge over ... sorry, & hope all of yours were much nicer to ride than mine tonight :)

Ah yes, mares & their hormones. I used to have a ginger ninja who could only ride oval shapes in the school when she was in love and her boyfriend was visible in the field so she could minimise the amount of time spent facing away from him!

hey ... maybe the boy has a more feminine side, he certainly doesn't fancy the ladies and is very pally with the boys - could this be his time of the month :D

On a serious note maybe its the clip?
My boy was an arss today he was clipped at weekend- only a trace clip, rode out yesterday with ex sheet on fine. Schooled today so no exercise sheet and he was a fruit loop.

Same here mine was horrid tonight. Having a lesson which involves boxing her there and back tomorrow so hope she behaves better for that :o

ah, they can't be that bad two days in a row surely (or at least we can hope! :o) . We're stupidly entered for dressage on Saturday and muggins didn't spot that it's in a 20 x 60 arena so now dreading taking the badly behaved muppet whilst having to remember where extra letters and moves are - we stick to 20 x 40 for a reason, doh!

I'd love this to be the answer but the YO schooled him yesterday in similar weather and he was fine then, think he just decided he didn't fancy having to wait for dinner and being in the school again - he's definitely not a fan of repetition

You know if we wanted wonderully predictable animals we would all have goldfish not horses. ;)

.... although there are some days when I can see the attraction .....
