I recently went on holiday for 4 days and whilst I was away my JR decided he couldn't possibly eat a thing (unless it was his favourite dog treats, freshly cooked bacon or horse poo!!!). Anyone else have a brat of a dog that will try it on at any given opportunity???

Lol....none of mine they are not fussy...or they would go without

However I just boarded a dog that ate the equivelant of a tin a meat in 2 weeks....

this is because his owner fed him....bacon butties, cornbeef sandwiches, pies and cakes

so he plainly refused to eat the meager dog food on offer.....eveytime I opened the fridge he darted towards it....and sat at the oven whenever OH was cooking bacon

of course he was well familiar with both...needless to say he got dog food or nowt

See I think Oz worked out my friend is a soft touch (and her boyfriend is even softer!!!), he went there with his normal food, which he devoured like he hadn't eaten for 4 days when he came home, but flatly refused to eat it whilst he was away. Poor Gem was really worried, but my view was that he's a fit, healthy (slightly over weight if anything) JR, so if he wants to miss a few meals, so be it.
