I have a 14 weeks old King Charles Spanial who could eat for britain, i am feeding him 4 times a day but he is constantly looking for food and when i do give him his meal he scoffs it seconds flat, he eats biscuits whole- generally just acts like he hasnt been fed in weeks. I have weighed his meals and he is getting the recommended. I tried adding water to slow him down but this just led to a lot of house accidents (oops). He will eat my cats food etc, its a bit of a nightmare as now they are eating off window cills etc to keep away from him. Any advice be great?

Thanks

The amounts on the packets are what is recommended BUT every dog is different and you can up it or give less depending on the dog . What is the pups weight like ? If he is holding a nice weight then perhaps try to find another feed that is more bulky . If he is a bit on the thin side up what he is having . I may be wrong but they aren't a breed that strike me as being very greedy so he may be hungry . I have bulked an older dogs food out with veg before now but perhaps not right with a young pup . You could always ring up the manufacter of your food and see what their expert says .
