Our local group organises beach rides there and the EGB North Norfolk Coastal Ride includes Hunstanton Beach. You have to make sure the tides are right and also it does get incredibly busy, but it is a lovely beach.
Hi, we did take some horses up to Norfolk many years ago - a little village just east of Hunstanton called Holme next the Sea . There was plenty of room for the lorry in the car park and we rode up the beach almost into Hunstanton. Although not sure if lorries/trailers are able to park there now? More recently a couple of ladies from the yard went to the same place. I believe they approached the riding school in the village beforehand and we able to park the lorry there and have a paddock for turnout for a couple of hours so they could have a pub lunch in between rides. Sounded brilliant!
You are only able to ride on Hunstanton beach at certain times of the year. I called them a couple of months ago and was told horses were not allowed on the beach until end of Oct. Also there is no parking for horseboxes etc - confirmed by the council.
