speaking of hunt coats, iam looking for a pink coat for a medium sized whipper-in..they are as rare as hens teeth and cant afford a new one.

I have a caldene heavyweight black with tattersalls check lining that I would like to sell. It is size 18/42, has only been worn once, due to the fact that my beloved hunter had problems, and I did not trust any other horse the way I trusted him. If anyone is interested please pm me.

Is there something different with the sizing of hunt coats?

I only ask, as I have tried on a few coats, and none fit. A 40" is too small, and the sleeves finish half way down my forearms, and a 42" makes me look like a kid in his dads coat!

My suit jackets are 42" my tweed is 42" and I recently found a black showing jacket which is 42" and fits well; so have I just tried on the wrong brands, or am I the wrong shape for off the shelf hunt coats?
