Tough but Fair
Not.I have heard that if a hound does kill a 'cur' dog it would be put down. Not sure how true that is.

I was walking somewhere recently and there was a hunt in the vicinity. I had two adult GSDs but also two small beardie border pups and I must admit I was a little bit nervous about meeting them. I did tell myself that they are likely to be well under control and not a threat to my dogs, but glad you have confirmed it.
This happened to a work colleague of mine in the last week-an estate in the Borders beginning with Y? She said the hounds were running about everywhere in the woods and trails-no people to be seen until they got to open ground and there were some landrovers with people who were 'with' the dogs. She put her dogs on leads and another man, with a small terrier was apparently quite freaked out-more by the fact that these dogs were running about with no people nearby.
Yes to my knowledge.Not.
Maybe in your local pack, but not around these here parts (sorry, got a bit Wild Western there).Yes to my knowledge.
Presumably because a pack of hounds shouldn't be killing anything in the UK, but still can in yours.Maybe in your local pack, but not around these here parts (sorry, got a bit Wild Western there).
Dunno, but never forget that the purpose of a pack of hounds is to hunt.Presumably because a pack of hounds shouldn't be killing anything in the UK, but still can in yours.
