Hunt/knackerman numbers - just curious, don't worry!

I think everyone will have different experiences.
Just as an example - I had the BEST chinese food of my entire life, with the BEST service ever...so I went online to leave them a review and I saw nothing but terrible reviews!
I've since been back maybe...6 or 7 times and still I found it amazing.

They seem to have a lot of recommendation, though I guess sadly it's not something you can really try before you buy :(

I can vouch for them they are excellent, I have been there while Mick has shot 2 horses (one my own & one for a friend who couldn't face it), he has also picked up several horses from my yard who were put down by injection. He a nice guy who I can't fault.

Good idea to be prepared, hopefully you won't be needing it anytime soon. But if you keep your horse for life it's sadly inevitable that you will be needing it at some time.

I am in the same area so have taken note. Thank you. I have vet number on phone and on tackroom wall but hadn't thought of this. Hopefully will never need it!

Just pointing out to OP how they treated me, so they see both sides of the coin.:)
 
I know it's not a nice thought but make sure you have a number for someone who will collect at the weekend. Jason was a pts at 3.30 am on a Saturday morning & I assumed that as it was by injection the hunt (whose number is on my mobile) wouldn't take him. I phoned 3 services (can't remember who now, was googling & getting names from friends) who didn't come out at the weekend before I tried the hunt in desperation. Luckily they did.
 
Well done for bringing this topic up, I have been very ignorant...
So, I am near Matlock Derbyshire, I have no idea where the local hunt people are, how would I find this out please?
Like I say, excellent thread that has made me really be proactive.xxx
