If anyone can see any malamute in him please say so!
 
He's lovely - he looks like a working line GSD to me or GSD x Malinois...I see no Malamute and very little Malinois - but I've been wrong before. I've seen GSD rescues refer to workingline sheps as x-breeds before....he's gorgeous, whatever he is :D
 
I am thinking possibly gsd x malinois. i know someone on another forum who has a working line malinois and they are very very similar but i think she has gsd in there somewhere to.

I agree though i doubt there is any malamute in there at all.

He is lovely in a i want to stalk you kind of way.!
 
Yeah, I have a WL GSD now, bit of a culture shock, it would be nice to turn around and not find him right behind me staring attentively at me....he tried to climb onto my lap when I was getting the car washed earlier....if one of his parents was a heavy-coated sable GSD it could have been mistaken for a Malamute by the less well-informed - have seen GSDs been described as all sorts just because they're not short coated and black and red....
 
Hunter looks very similar but lighter built maybe, i will try and get some proper pics of him, but he has ants in his pants and hates standing still.

The people we got him off where not the brightest of people!
 
Agree I can't see any Malamute in him, possibly malinois, he does seem to have the finer coat of the mal and lighter bone but looks more GSD than anything else to me.
