"Hunter" saddles? Anyone got/had one?

Does anyone have any experience with "Hunter" saddles as a brand?

Got a GP one to try tonight but I have never heard of them before as a brand.

They are English (Wallsall metal plate next to stirrup bar) but that is as far as my knowledge goes. I suspect they are made at the Hunter saddlery in cumbria by the master saddler there but their website is lacking any info regarding saddles. The saddle flap is marked 'hunter' with a logo of a horse so quite distinctive.

Any experiences appreciated espceially if someone knows what price they retail for new...

my saddle is a 'hunter' made in walsal but never been able to find out any info re the brand either!!

on the plus side the saddle is very comfortable for both me and the horse. i have the GP and it is fairly forward cut with nice knee rolls.

never had any problems with it and saddler says its a nice saddle!

cheers for that. Rode in it and its a no go, fits horse but not me, although knee rolls fairly forward cut my knees were still going over them
