Hunter Showing Classes, peeps need to know what weight....

Hi

Am doing FOH at Aston Le Walls at end of the month with RC, but not a clue what weight my chap should be entered in, some say go a weight lower for showing etc. I am erring towards lightweight but still irking that maybe he is middleweight...professional opinions pllleeeeeeeeze!! Be sods law I put him in the wrong class!!

thank you guys, just managed to get hold of a friend who has competed all hunter classes at HOYS, she reckons middleweight too! spot on!!

Middleweight- you need to de- hair his legs as well!

I did the showing classes there last year, I did the middlewieght class with Ryu (16.1h WB) and the judge said I should have done the light weight class, I wish I had to be honest there were loads less in the class! Us on the day we came around 9th!!!

PMSL!! Mate has just nagged me about that as well, I havent trimmed anything on him yet as he has issues with clippers, so will have to dope him a couple of weeks before...and get set to work!! Tail too long also but thankfully clip is now growing out!!

He has all the tack he needs, and me the gear, just need to sort him out now!! - thankfully he is settling more now.
