My horse has come back from a tendon injury which occurred in the autumn last year. He's been in work since June with no ill effects and has been cubbing and on fast hunt rides totally fine.

I used to HT and Team Chase him in the open classes which he sailed over. Due to hunting (maybe...!!) starting soon I thought we should go jumping. There is a local hunter trial and I was considering doing the 2'6" just for fun and because its not quite so strenuous. Am I being mad risking him or should I just get on with it and go and have some fun. He's happiest out with other horses and turns into a new man when he goes to parties!! My way of thinking is that I can molly coddle him all the time and never actually do anything that we both enjoy - if he's going to break, he's going to break. The vet seems to think his leg is totally fine and that if he's going to go wrong the chances are it won't be his bad leg!!
