Well you've completed your personal Burghley!
After a horrific accident, to achieve this AND place second , is a huge accomplishment. Don't sell yourself short !!

)Told you so!! Great news. A friend and I did a pairs class about 10 years ago which we won ( like you, we went clear, jumped as a pair when needed but took a long while through the timed section compared to young'uns who made mistakes!) To this day she sends me FB reminders of the event. So mark the day. Have fun next time out too.

It's given me that added boost to enter our first solo hunter trial at the end of the month.

I owe it all to Mabel, there's no way I would be doing this if it wasn't for her.

They are the best.

When we were on the way to the warm up ring , a woman was whittling to another woman about their young daughters getting round and she looked at me and said far too loudly ' if people are going round on them , they will be absolutely fine' .

There is still that stigma that the only thing they are good for is pulling carts , I enjoy going out with her and proving those people wrong.

They are just so much fun !
