Really excited ive just booked into my first hunter trial

Its a small course at Chapel wood in hartley

Can anyone tell me how the whole eliminating thing works? like how many refusals u can have, my boy can be a pain with refusing jumps so just wanna no b4 hand how it works

And is a hunter trial very straight forward?

its usually 3 refusals at a fence and you are eliminated. under be rules if you accumulate 4 refusals round the whole course then thats also elimination but check with tthe secretary if you are unsure

Most unaffil hunter trials will let you carry on if eliminated ie three refusals. But if you're allowed to continue they probably won't allow you more than three per fence and you must keep clear of those coming along behind.
