My daughter is thinking of doing her first hunter trials in a couple of weeks time. Can anyone advise on what she should wear. She normally wears white jods and long black boots for show jumping and dressage so would they be ok for hunter trials? What should she wear on her top half? I know we have to get a skull hat and she already has a body protector. Will she need anything else? Thanks in advance for any help.

Depending on the organisers, hunter trials can be relatively easygoing. White or cream jods and a rugby shirt/polo top on top, backprotector and skull cap. I usually wear an under armour base layer with my back protector over it.

I've seen people do it in navy jods and a long sleeved top so don't worry - just enjoy the day. Hunter trials are the best!!
