Hunter wellies - sorry

if you want to look good at glastonbury then buy hunters............they might be a bit pricey but i have moved on to le chameau loads of different styles and so far so good

Hunter wellies are rubbish. I used to swear by them, they used to last years, not now. Within months leaking and worn out,

The last 2 pairs I bought (going back a few years ago) were rubbish, one pair leaked within 2 weeks! I bought another pair and the same happened after 2 months, I wouldnt waste my money on them again.

It is definitely worth investing a bit more money to get Le Chameau wellies, they're lovely and last ages! Or Aigle neoprene lined ones are good too. My uncle uses the Aigles for shooting and his feet stay cosy and warm all day

Whatever you do don't buy Ness Wellies. They look lovely but mine perished at the seams (both feet) after only about 6 wearings. I complained to Ness but they just weren't interested. Very poor customer support. So DO NOT BUY NESS WELLIES.

To be honest I have found them exactly as they used to be, infact my most recent pair are lasting better than the ones I used to have 20 years ago, which barely lasted a year.

My current pair are about 12 months old and still look and work like new!

I do think people in general have an awful tendancy to remember things in rose tinted specticles how many times do we hear ''oh its not as good as they used to be!''
