as an x pro and now anti, I can understand both points of view BUT when antis like you turn up with nothing concrete to say and hurl abuse!!!!! Go away, we dont need you-any of us. Before you leave, let me ask you a question. What do you really know about hunting and what do you do (apart from hurling abuse) to change things? Mairi. :(

You must have led an extremely sheltered life if you think anything in this thread constitutes "hurling abuse".

Let's put it this way: I am much more concerned with the hard-core abuse inflicted on animals than I am with the so-called "abuse" I've apparently "hurled" on a few numpties here. If they can't take it they shouldn't dish it out in the first place.

I'm sure your lovely luce! Some say I wasn't so bad in my day.

I am a little overweight now but still a few pounds short of officially obese.

Its all that cider!! :)

If she thinks we're fat she can't know anything about hunting, sod squats, there's nothing like a seasons hunting to leave you with a pert well shaped rear end!

I cantered for the first time on my brand new cob. I'm very much a novice. I asked the instructor if I was meant to be pounding into the saddle with such force and she said no. In fact it turns out I wasn't meant to be pounding into the saddle at all!

However the prospect of losing a little flab down there is making me think I should try and keep my 'rising canter' going for a few more weeks.

Poor cob...and wasn't it a little sore in certain other areas!! lol...
:p
Women who ride a lot either get an bum like a sofa cushion or a tenny taut one...or so my OH tells me, years of looking at our bums while on the terrier wagon! (He does consider himself something of an expert...)

'tenny taut one' - mmm I'm definitely going to have to take him hunting. Although I think I'll stay at the back!

Mind you 'sofa cushion' doesn't sound to bad either!

hear hear Luce & Severn! Add to that the mucking out, daily riding etc etc, fit, healthy and happy sounds a more appropriate than "unattractive lumps of lard"

Being new to the site, I have to ask - what exactly does this peta person get out of it???? - ahhh got it, maybe no-one actually LISTENS to her senseless chat anymore so she's had to resort to typing????
