Ive hacked from hartpury college a few times to hunt with the ledbury. They usually meet once at upleadon which isnt too far to hack from the college. The other time i went was over at corse lawn (but thats a bit far!) and i know they meet at tweenhills, which is the stud next door to hartpury, sometimes. Hope that helps, its a nice hunt, quite a bit of jumping the times i went! Just try to find someone who knows where they are! If your on the college yard youll probably find other people who want to go.
I don't see your point of number of friends, I was offering to spend the day with a person not from the area in a day of legal activities,
unless the hunt are planning on breaking the law, then I will inform who ever needs to be informed.
Were you planning on going out on a horse then wrighty as i dont think youd keep up with bramble87 if not. So offering to spend the day with a person not from the area in a day of legal activities would be a bit fruitless.
And as is so often the case the hunts dont plan on breaking the law, sometimes it just so unfortunately happens!
Doesnt shock me you missed wit either!
"And as is so often the case the hunts dont plan on breaking the law, sometimes it just so unfortunately happens!"
I don't think that will be a good enough excuse in court.
"Were you planning on going out on a horse"
You never know, I might just run behind and try to keep up, some of the horses and riders I have seen are on the slow side. Anyway, I thought there were plenty of hunt followers that dont ride.
There are many foot followers, however being on foot would not be much use to someone out on horseback who doesnt know any of the country. Would appluade you if you did manage to keep up, even with the slow ones!
Excuse my limited knowledge, but I thought that if the huntsman lost control of the hounds then that was a valid excuse!
