So took the big fella hunting today :) He was insanely well behaved [he went out hunting 2 days last season, so still 'new' to him], stood at the meet, was perfect round the hounds and when we were going he was still just as well behaved. In a snaffle the wholetime [all 17.1of him bless him], never pulled once and was a bit more 'kick on' if anything! He was just seriously a dude and loved it....though he was freakishly obsessed and in awe of the whips horse....so think he secretly wants to be a whips horse ;)
Anywho...all in all a fabulous day. Kept him out all day, he travelled perfectly both ways and genuinely loved it. Got his hunt references for anyone interested in him though now, which isn't so great as don't want the big fella to go! I want him. :( If anyone wants to create a Splodgey fund go ahead and I shall love you forever and can pay you back in jelly tots!!! [Anyone? :D :p :(]

:D He was one of the biggest out there I think today.
 
Depsite being a big lad, he's never been strong or a puller or other luckily :) He's a big doofus bless him :p If he could be a labrador he would!

Well done you! Who did you go out with?? (the hunt i mean - but company is always good!)

I took my girl out for the 1st time the other day - she loved it!!!
Now my company friend has gone and done his tendon in - so I have to pluck up enough courage to go out on my own!!! :eek::eek::eek:
 
Sounds like you had a great and love the big man :D
Would love to take Samsam out hunting once his fit and ready but know I would be the one being carted over into the sunset :o
 
Awww go for it haha! Off again tomorrow, shall have been 5 times in one week lol!!! Not on him this time though. :(

I go with Beaufort :) I was on my own last season exercising....it's fine, get chatting to some peeps whilst you're out and you meet some nice friends!
