Sorry if this has been done before or to death, but how about a few swaps of hunting days?

We are very lucky and have room to have a few horses and bedrooms for a few at a time, but for those that don't and fancy giving it a go maybe you can give some names of liveries and B&B's and we can hunt our way around the country, on the cheap of course. What do you think?

Good idea, and I'm sure you would do this anyway but check with the hunt you are visiting first....some days visitors aren't permitted for varying reasons, so to avoid any embarassment give the Secretary a ring beforehand! (otherwise the Secretary gets a telling off)

Sorry to be a party pooper but really hope you get a good response and have some great days!! We live in the world's smallest cottage but if anyone wants to brave a trip to Essex then I will try and help!

Tractor we are quite organised you know, I have put some thought into this.:)

Just checking :-)

As a Secretary that has suffered a telling off for "allowing" visitors when they hadn't rung me in the first place, I thought I'd comment.

I would love to take part in this :D

I don't think I could offer the holiday cottage and stables for free (not mine) but could get them at a very discounted rate. Although there is every chance I can provide a horse (albeit a small one!!)

What a brilliant idea :D

I didn't mean you/us to supply horses, you bring your own, or I suppose the host whoever it maybe be might know of hirelings.

I mean't come and visit us stay and hunt bring your horse we will put you up in return of the same. I don't know if you can do it but lets find out, probably gone are the days you could do that because of insurance and health and safety but I will look into it, but basically come hunt with us. Of to do research.

I'd struggle for stabling, but sure I could find something! We hunt until the last weekend in March/1st weekend in April, and if you're going to join us for any day of the season I would suggest our last!

our visitors policy is turn up and enjoy yourself on a saturday please, midweek is restricted and by arrangement only.

Simsar what a great idea, we have four horses available for hunting and only me to ride at the mo so could provide some horses we are just about to move but later on in the season would be good for us, we are with in distance of the cheshires, cheshire forest and the meynell.

xx
