Not going to bore you with a full report, but I'm over the moon with how well behaved Ali was!
There was a lot of standing around, but the amount of jumping we did definitely made up for it! Everything from hedges, wire, 6 bar gates etc., Ali jumped everything really well, except I got a bit of a fright when we jumped a hedge about an hour in, and whilst we were in midair I realised there was a bloody huge drop the other side...
Cue me leaning back and clinging on for dear life, I survived though!
We finished up at about 4, and then headed to the pub. All the hunt staff had something good to say about Ali, one of the whipper-ins even said he'd make a great whipper-in's horse next season, so as you can imagine I'm a very pleased Mummy
He didn't have any major tantrums, although he still has a habit of jumping around a bit when we're preparing to jump something, but if I don't hold him back enough he'll end up being right up the horse in front of us' ass after the fence
I've only brought Ali out 6 times this season, but his behaviour has dramatically changed from "killer horse" to a horse a lot of people would love to hunt for the day...
Dad took the wrong damn camera unfortunately, and obviously the battery just had to die
