Have a go at Autumn hunting. Much slower and sedate at this time of year. And most hunts have a non-jumping option.
 
wow, well, I've been hunting now!!

I thought the one in the red jacket was the head honcho though, and you're not meant to pass him/her, yet I saw that happen a lot, and there was loads of red jackets!?
 
That video makes me miss my mare who was so much fun out hunting. She was a buzzy type who would jump anything. I had much more control in a steady canter rather than trotting on roads.

Think my new horse is going to be a bit different this year, he's a lazy sod.
