Hunting ?????

On facebook people have put pics of the new forest hunt, and people on here refer to hunts , I thought hunting was banned or is this drag they are on about, or is the law ignored ???????????? bit confused x

No one has banned the existence of hunts, but they now have to conduct legal activities ie mounted hound exercise or hunting a trail. (there are other exemptions but these are the main activities)

There's a few loopholes in the ban. A lot of hunts use a bird of prey now...

That laws a load of old bollocks anyway so who really cares if people choose to ignore it?? having said that there are ways and means to go about things without breaking the law

There is a whole section in this forum dedicated to hunting so it might be logical to assume it continues legally. Plus H&H magazine have quite a lot of pages dedicated to it each week...

Yes Hunting does still go on and it is legal. What it doesn't do anymore is deliberately catch a live fox - they follow scent lines now. If they do catch a fox they have to kill it other than by the dogs; by shooting it or carrying a bird of prey to kill it.
