Anyone hunt on a Thursday? I really would like to take my mare hunting this winter and she's never been before so would like to go midweek when its quieter. I'm off work on a Thursday so just wondered if anyone hunted then. Most of my truly local packs seem to go out on a Wednesday which is no good for me.
Thanks :-)

I'm keeping an eye on this thread. Tynedale are doing a sort of 'intro' to hunting fun day on the 16th October where you can pick the level you want to go on etc which sounds good.
I also want to go hunting this winter and I'm looking at going with either Morpeth or Tynedale :)

Thanks guys. Tuesdays are definitely a non-starter for me with work unfortunately.
Whereabout does the Staintondale hunt? I think it might be bit too far south for me. I'm already having palpitations at the thought of how early I'm going to have to be to meet the Morpeth for cubbing LOL.

Tynedale put on a few thurs meets through the season. They have some nice country and optional jumping in some areas. Haydon, Border and North Tyne are weds and sats. They are all pretty much non jumping packs (North Tyne def).
The Percy occasionally do other by days but think that might just be mondays!
Hope you find one to go with!

Thanks... it looks like the Morpeth and the Tynedale are my best bet for Thursdays and if she takes to it we shall maybe see about going out with the braes on weekends. I only want non-jumping until I can see how she reacts to the hounds and cantering in a group (without taking off with me I hope lol) and if she copes with all that ok gradually introduce some jumping too...
Although my instructor jumped her today and doesn't think all is lost with her original career!
