Really happy tonight as got to yard and found the yard numpty had sold her horse. The horse was collected by his new owners and she has packed up and gone.:D

Wishing his new owners the best of luck with the horse as he was quite sweet it was just a shame his old owners attitude was awful. The list of things is endless but among others she didn't see a problem in not doing yard duties ie. poo picking and water. She would also regularly turn him loose in the yard which backs onto my horse's field and the horses would fight over the fence resulting in a leg injury for my horse - luckily only minor!

What do your yard numptys do?

Gives out advice like she's yogi briesner but doesn't ride and when she does doesn't get out of walk! Lol

I think your Yogi commutes to my yard too!!! She has a horse with a mouth like a piece of wood, is always banging on about her fantastic seat yet if the horse so much as sneezes she topples out the side door!!

Our yard is NOW perfect as no numptys in sight! OMG - it drives me mad when a person has a horse but doesn't bother to get their backside out if bed at the weekend so that their poor horse is still in their stable on it's own until 11-12! They also don't realise that the horse needs a bed rather than sleeping on literally bare concrete with about a bale of shavings, their horse is thin so really does need hard feed and their horse gets so stressed being left on it's own that it weaves in the stable or fence walks in the field! In the summer, they think that a visit once or twice a week is ok because at least they know that they are sharing with someone who cares about their horses and visits twice a day to check water and poo pick! I really don't know why some people have horses! There should be a licence to test if you are responsible enough! Ok rant over! Just glad that finally at my yard, there are lots of lovely, responsible, caring owners now!
