Anyone used one?
The problematic one is obviously more antsy ridden when he gets hot and sweaty. Currently avoiding this but I’ve been looking at ways to make him a bit cooler and wondered about a Husk pad. They are more than I’d normally spend though.
Alternatively also the Le mieux carbon air pad. But cheaper but again any good?

I found the husk ones better than the le mieux one. I find them very handy, slightly slippy on cob style ponies but grand on the other horses.

I have just sold all my Husk pads predominately because the fit was just not that great.

The thought behind the brand and the material is good but I am not convinced my mare was less sweaty under the saddle pads to be honest. I think the main difference is that the sweat does not seep through to the outside therefore almost gives an illusion of the horse being less hot.

I replaced the pads sold with Premier Equine Close Contact pads which are thin cotton with a fine mesh lining - substantially cheaper, better fit and I can honestly say that I haven’t noticed any difference in terms of actual sweat under the saddle
