I think all potential husky owners should research properly, such lovely looking dogs who clearly need very competent homes!

Absolutely agree, I wish that were the case!

My mushing mentor always says to me 'Having sibes/mals is life changing' and initially I laughed at him, but now I can see how right he is. Your whole life revolves around these dogs (I'm not saying it doesn't with other breeds obviously), but sleddogs are hard work - all the time! They exhaust us

I love the look of a Sibe but am under no impression that I could cope with one.

totally agree! i would love a sibe (my aunty has sibes well only one now) and as much as i believe im an experienced dog owner, i would not have the time or experience for a sibe! my labXgsd is exhausted when we go to my auntys for a week after going for walks and runs and bikes with Ice

Those pics remind me of the late, great Freya, a husky I owned years ago, who when left in the kitchen, ate her way into a cupboard, I came how to find her sitting inside the cupboard looking pleased with herself.
